i went to see versailles latest contemporary art installation at the weekend. with much controversy over the show with some claiming that Takashi Murakami's work detracts from the overall château de versailles experience, but it was a carefully considered exhibition, and indisputably adds provocative excitement and a fresh perspective. With many of the pieces included in the collection inspired by the historic site.
