a record player created from a piece of corrugated cardboard that folds into an envelope. once assembled, a record can be spun on the player with a pencil. the vibrations go trough the needle and are amplified in the cardboard material. the players were sent out to creative directors across north america as a creative demonstration of ggrp’s sound engineering capabilities.

unhappy hipsters
an amusing blog taking architectural style photographs from design magazines such as wallpaper, and adding amusing copy to them.
In their nuptial vows, they’d promised to never conceal anything, to remain completely open to one another. But the prison-style shower remodel wasn’t the anniversary gift she’d hoped for.

nike chalkbot
chalking the roads is a tour de france tradition during which spectators write messages of encouragement to their favorite riders. livestrong and the lance armstrong foundation embraced the idea of using the road as a canvas; as part of nike’s open roads project, boxes of yellow chalk were handed out at the tour of california and at select livestrong events, encouraging people to chalk messages of hope in the fight against cancer. the nike chalkbot was a way to take positive messages to the tour de france. by sending a message to the chalkbot through twitter, sms, web banners or wearyellow.com, people around the world were able to make their mark in yellow. over the course of a month, the chalkbot gained over 4,000 followers on Twitter, received over 36,000 messages of support and inspiration. over 13 stages and several thousand miles of the tour de france more than 5,400 messages were chalked, tagged with gps coordinates and photographed—photos and gps data were sent to the writers of the messages.

miss bugs
with a unique style that sees their striking, often psychotic artworks seemingly emerging from their backgrounds, male and female duo miss bugs‘ latest series of street interventions showcases some of their most brilliant work to date. their unique style, drenched in dark humour and iconography, has seen the duo whip up somewhat of an international storm of hype in recent years, and with work as inspired as this, don’t expect it to be long until the boy from bristol and girl from pencoed are demanding similarly outrageous sums of money for their works to that of fellow bristolian, banksy.
